American Enterprise Group announces Dave Keith as Chief Executive Officer, effective January 1, 2024
Current CEO and Executive Chairman Tom Swank to retire from CEO position at the end of 2023; will continue on as Chairman
DES MOINES, Iowa — American Enterprise Group, Inc. (AEG) announced that CEO and Executive Chairman Tom Swank will be retiring from the CEO position at the end of the year. The company shared that the Board of Directors for the mutual holding company has named Dave Keith, President of Insurance Solutions, as his successor, effective January 1, 2024. Tom will continue on as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the mutual holding company.
“Dave Keith is a seasoned leader with deep industry expertise. Since joining AEG, he has made significant contributions to our leadership team and in our insurance solutions division,” said Swank. “This is an exciting time to be part of the company, and I am thrilled for our employees, our partners, and our customers. I also look forward to continuing to serve the company as Chairman and working closely with Dave this year on the transition.”
Dave joined AEG in 2016 as Chief Operations Officer. In his most recent role as President of Insurance Solutions, Dave has overseen the sales, product solutions, customer service, technology and innovation teams, and AE Ventures. Dave was instrumental in creating AE Ventures, the insurtech arm for AEG. Prior to joining AEG, Dave was the CEO and founder of se2, an industry-leading, third-party technology solutions provider and administrator for life and annuity companies.
