Description:

 

Under the direction of the Americare Manager, the Sales Support Supervisor is responsible for supervision of the Americare Sales Support unit which supports sales activities of licensed sales agents in a call center environment.

EXAMPLES OF ASSIGNED RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Responsible for the management of all functions of the Americare Sales Support unit by creating and developing goals, objectives, and policies to ensure the most effective operation.

- Responsible for the monitoring of Americare application processing from receipt of the application through issued business to ensure accuracy and timeliness in sales credit for Americare. This is inclusive of all products offered through the distribution.

- Responsible for Sales Support unit’s role as a liaison between the Americare agents and other Enterprise departments (Customer Service, Risk Selection/Underwriting, Agency Support Center, etc) to resolve problems, communicate information, or track written business.

- Oversee kit assembly requests for information kits to ensure compliance to state specific regulations and takes lead in the design and testing of new, as well as revised, fulfillment materials for the distribution ensuring compliance to federal and state specific regulations for all products offered.

- Oversee the coordination between Americare and the Agency Support Center to ensure timely renewal of agent licensing.

- Oversee system support needed to meet sales support functions including hardware such as printers, copiers, fax machines and software applications.

- Oversee the responsibility of the distribution for incoming, outgoing, inner-office mail, printer output, and supply inventory for the distribution to ensure compliance adherence to regulations.

- Maintain personnel and payroll related records in order to provide information for performance evaluation and employee incentive compensation.

- Analyze and make recommendations to solve problems and improve current workflow processes for the distribution.

- Manage relationships with Internal and External suppliers and vendors for the call center.

- Management of all facility and security requests for the distribution.

- Responsible for the documentation and updating of specific procedures and reference manuals for the distribution.

- Responsible for Americare communications.

Qualifications:

 

Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field.

Three years of supervisory experience, preferably in telemarketing operations.

A combination of education and relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.

Description:

 

Responsible for the quality assurance, mentoring, and coaching of sales techniques for call center agents. Identify best practices and process improvement opportunities to ensure alignment with business needs.

Core Functions

Coaching & mentoring of call center agents around sales techniques to drive sales production.

Distribution product knowledge expert - ability to share information/knowledge with call center agents.

Lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of quality assurance programs & strategies that support quality improvement and business effectiveness of call center.

Develop, document, and facilitate formalized performance improvement training activities & strategies for new hires and existing staff to meet and exceed the goals and targets of the distribution.

Accountable for the tracking & delivery of quality assurance and other training related performance metrics for call center.

Oversee the sequencing, segmentation, and composing of on-line documentation content that supports business functions.

Serves as a backup Supervisor to the Direct Sales Agents when needed.

Responsible for communication and coordination with other departments including but not limited to underwriting, agent licensing, marketing, and sales support.

 

Qualifications:

 

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Education, or a related field.

Three years experience in developing instructional material for training adult learners.

Previous Sales experience preferred.

Previous experience supervising, managing, leading the training and/or quality functions of an operation.

A combination of education and relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
